so, my shack has been evolving for a while now. for those of you that don't know, I'm an extra class who works for a radio store. most of my personal gear is "new to me" "pre-owned" "crap that someone else got rid of". I think I've managed to put together a nice collection, bits and pieces at a time.

I wanted to do an inventory, so time for a nose count of sorts..

VX-6R with SRH320A and MH-57
(I have done the mod on this one, enabling wide band transmit, and turning it into a quad bander that will also cover 6 meters. I have not had a chance to measure the spurrs to see how strong they are, but with an output power of less than 2 watts, they can't be that much. worst case, I'll make a band pass filter and use a mounted antenna rather than a handheld for 6 meter FM.)

I did have a 91AD, but it was only good for pissing me off..

VX-170 (belongs to XYL, but we both use it) with Comet SMA-24 and also an MH-57 a CT-91 is also available for both radios for doing packet, or using a voice recorder.

traded off the FT-60 to get the VX-6 (yay upgrade!)

Mobile

IC-2200H for simplex, mostly used at home for scanning repeaters, and taken out to work events. cheap, effective. doubles as a grill. normally attached to a Diamond X50A also used with comet M-24M now and then.

TM-D700A installed in my Miata, with a Comet SBB5-NMO, trunk mounted with a real hole in the sheet metal.

Other

Cobra 29LTD and 19DX, cause sometimes they come in handy. no... not really..

Shack computer. a laptop with a broken hinge works fine when you leave it in one spot.

And all of the other assorted junk, wires, adapters, antennas, and accumulated things..
